Justin Scheidling is among Long Island’s most “in-demand” drummers and percussionists. Versatile in numerous musical genres including Jazz, Rock, Latin, Pop, Reggae, Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B, Justin excels on almost every type of percussion instrument. He has benefitted from the instruction of some of the world’s greatest musicians including Roland “Gajate” Garcia (Dancing With The Stars/Stevie Wonder), Paulo Stagnaro (Ricky Martin) Chris Scherer, Bob Leto and Frank Cassara.
Justin is the the Official Rally Drummer for the New York Islanders Hockey Team under the name DrummerJ and for several upcoming tours and recordings, Justin is currently playing hand percussion with Nick Tangorra (Epic Records) and recorded percussion the soon to be released album by Jeff Allegue (Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Taylor Dayne). Justin is also featured playing drum set for American Idol’s Robbie Rosen (Universal Italy) . In addition to these groups, Justin also manages and performs with several of his own bands including The Gnarly Headz and The grÜve. Other artists Justin regularly performs with are Black Tie Brass and Trish Toralles and the Premier (featured in American Idol season XIV), and The Jokrs. Justin’s resume also includes membership in The Elvis Duran and the Morning House Band, New Life Crisis, The Como Brothers Band, Kayla Stockert, and Copperline: A Tribute to James Taylor.
