As President, CEO and Lead DJ of Barattini Productions, Kevin built this company from the ground up to be one of the most popular and well-known DJ & Event Planning companies in the tri-state area and beyond.
In addition to DJ’ing your next big event, DJ Medic can be seen running all around town, using his talents to pull people up and out of their chairs and up to dance wherever he goes. Have you attended a New York Islanders game at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn? DJ Medic was there, spinning all the warm-up music and game time tunes for Islander fans and their boys in orange and blue. From that DJ Medic has now taken those talents to Flushing, Queens to amp up all those New York Mets fans as he will be proving music for the entire Mets faithful at Citi-Field for the 2016 season!
He has also worked as On-Air talent for top Long Island radio stations 106.1 BLI, Party 105.3 and 94X (currently 94.3 “The Shark”), performed with his emcee James Clemente (JC) on Los Angeles Amp Radio 97.1 morning show with Carson Daly, had the honor to DJ large television events such as ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover, and even worked his magic alongside famous artists such as Taio Cruz, American Authors, and the Piano Man, Billy Joel.
In addition to his love and passion for DJ’ing, Kevin also works full-time for the Town of Smithtown, is a Lieutenant in his local fire department, and serves as an EMT / firefighter. In fact, it was his EMT duties that led to his famous “DJ Medic” name.
As the story goes, Kevin was performing at the Northport Fire Department Annual Fair one summer, and was approached by a woman whose child was not breathing. Kevin immediately sprang into action and began mouth-to-mouth until the child began breathing again. He later made a full recovery at the hospital. Word of Kevin’s fast actions spread quickly to the Northport firemen, who were the first ones to utter the name, “DJ Medic.”
Kevin is a true believer that whatever you put your heart into will give you greater achievements. His hard work and dedication to each event has been the foundation of Barattini Productions’ huge 15+ year success.
